Paid $15 cover charge to get into Lola's room for 90s night for my friend's birthday and had to leave after an hour because it was so unforgivably hot in there that we couldn't stand it. Temperature that day was in the 90s (no pun intended) and even hotter inside especially with how many people were there. There was one single fan to cool the entire bar filled with tons of people dancing which wasn't even big enough to circulate the air in the room. Thought we could go outside to cool off but they don't allow re-entry so we were stuck in the heat. I will still go to Lola's room for a drink if I have a show at crystal ballroom but I absolutely will not go back outside of that with the cover charge being that high and the heat being so unbearable.

We went to see French Police play here and getting in was a breeze, show ur ID and tickets, empty ur pockets to walk thru security, grab items then youre in! The place is really cute and the restaurant is right next door. A great venue for small artists and also has a bar in the back

All the staff is really nice! Love the dance flashback nights. I will say that the drinks are pretty pricey for not giving a buzz at all, and it is suuuuper hot in there so I had to take away a star. They could definitely add some more fans on the dance floor! Overall good vibe :)

Such a fun place to go dancing. There's metal detectors at the entrance and they search all bags. Full bar with great cocktails and beer on tap. However it's super hot and there's no A/C. It'd be nice if the added fans. Otherwise great place to go dancing. Highly recommend.

Easily the worst music venue in Portland, and worst McMenamin’s location anywhere. My husband and I usually love going to concerts and events at different McMenamin’s locations, but we won’t go back to Lola’s room. Rude staff, disappointing music and overpriced both for cover and drinks.
