Got to try them with insoles to compare the feel. I really liked the New Balance Fresh Foam 880 v15 he suggested. I didn’t buy it right away, but ended up getting the v14 online from Marathon Sports. I’ve shopped here twice, and both times have been excellent. While I’ve been to very good running stores, both in and outside of Boston, this is my favorite. While you may have to wait, that’s because of their patience with customers making sure that they are perfectly fitted with the right shoe. They map your feet and even give you time to run in them outside the store! I’m also impressed by their generous return policy, and as an educator, appreciate their teacher discount. Even though she was still in-training, Ella was a wonderful help today and pleasant to talk to. She fitted me with a great new set of shoes. I believe the variety of their brands of shoes is better than the competition in the area. They also carry quality products for runners besides shoes.

Happy to see the great reviews on this place! Had a super positive experience here on a busy Saturday. Barely had to wait 5 min to be assisted. Isabella helped me out and was super patient with me as I tried on probably 10 pairs of shoes. I got to use the foot scanner and email the results to myself. Also got to jog around the block to test the shoes and even though I'm super indecisive shopping (especially for an expensive purchase like running shoes) I found my perfect fit :-) great experience and will come back the next time I need a pair. I highly recommend this shop with its diverse goods and services. We were welcomed generously by the staff and Mr. Will Diamond was so patient with us ( we were a group of 4) and he did help us measure our feet size and to see the best choice for us. What I appreciate the most that I told him that I am unable to afford the price of the shoes for the moment and he did all the measurement service in a very professional manner.
