Beautiful Chicago park but terribly trashed! 😪 Local resident here 🙋♀️ I came for a midday stroll since this park is only mins away from me and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Such a sad sight to see because there was trash everywhere! The wildlife does not deserve this. We ALL need to do better. I will never understand people who are comfortable littering. Is there anyone I can contact about this issue? Can the city put more garage bins to make it more accessible for people to throw THEIR garbage away?

This place is big. It has many ways you can spend time like taking a run or riding a bike. You can also play sports. This place is not well kept. There are many junkies and many people go there to sell drugs or other things. The place has some bad places and sometimes there are fights. I wouldn't recommend in my opinion.

I come here often from a nearby sw side neighborhood because it’s the closest Chicago park with good fishing. It’s gem in between two neighborhoods. Just wish the people here took some pride and not trash it all the time.
