This was my first time at Milk + Honey! I was visiting from out of state and was in need of a pedicure. The aesthetic was beautiful & serene. If I’m ever in Texas again, I’ll have to pay this place another visit! It was clean and everyone was very professional. Jessica did my pedi, and she did an amazing job. After the worst botched haircut of my life at Great Clips in Steiner Ranch (yes, I know), I called Milk + Honey needing to get my hair fixed FAST at 7 pm. A very kind voice on the other end assured me they could help and could fit me in with Amber in just 30 minutes. I walked in to their reception area 20 minutes-odd later and was greeted by a redhead whose kind voice I recognized from when I first called. She made me feel at ease and led me to a clean, comfortable waiting area and offered me water. I had cried because of my terrible haircut 6 times prior and hadn’t drank water in a while so the detox water was just what I needed. Then I met Amber, a beautiful redhead with a kind smile and let me tell you, she’s my hairstylist from here on out. I’ve lived in Austin for the last 1.5 years and hadn’t yet found a hairstylist. I, on a whim, decided to get a ‘trim’ on that day and Great Clips BUTCHERED my long hair. They lopped off more than 6 inches (which isn’t what I asked for) and proceeded to give me the most lopsided, uneven, awful haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Amber put me at ease from the start and was very straightforward. Her kindness and honesty shone through from the moment I met her and by the time I was in the shampoo chair she had me in stitches, laughing. She let me know her game plan, reassured me she’d fixed much worse ( 🫶), and proceed to give me a beautiful haircut and the best scalp massage I’ve ever had. She then styled my beautifully cut hair and recommended the best anti- frizz product I’ve ever used. But, she wasn’t pushy. She showed me how it worked on my hair, and that sold it for me. I can’t recommend her enough. If you can get in with Amber you will not be disappointed. Her skill, her grace, her kindness all turned a horrible day into something much better. And I’ve finally found my hairstylist in Austin! Will definitely be back. PS My boyfriend loves my new haircut and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair it’s insane. 🙂

Had the most delightful massage today! Of course it’s a beautiful facility with really luxurious bathrooms and really beautiful interiors, but I was pleasantly surprised to find so many friendly faces! Jess at the front desk was super welcoming and took her time showing me all of the amenities in the spa. She even showed me twice how to use the locker where you set your own combination. Then my massage was with Daniel who had really great pressure And was super accommodating for my massage! I will definitely be sore tomorrow, but that’s how I like deep tissue! I had another appointment somewhere else almost immediately after so I didn’t get to hang out and use the fancy steam showers or hang out too long in the lounge area, but everything looks beautiful and I wish I had had more time! I will definitely be back!

Couples Anniversary Massages visiting Austin. Easy scheduling via phone, text confirmation and simple tablet checkin process upon arrival. Hostess were friendly, welcoming and explained general facility setup well. The location itself was calming, inviting and well thought out. The locker room area, steam showers, lounge area, and light music were a very nice start to our massage experience. The couples massages were in the same room, we were offered an enhancement due to our anniversary. Massage therapist were nice, slightly difficult to understand one but we gestured our way through. The massages were pretty great, very relaxing and much needed. The only thing we did not like was the amount of noise in the room while gathering supplies, shifting around the room etc. Voice levels as well as several loud noises throughout the massage process. Loud shoes, item's dropping to the floor, lots of shuffling. We did our best to tune out the noise, in our prior couples massage experiences voices were more to a whisper and very quiet with general room activity so much that we could sleep soundly if we wanted. Overall we enjoyed the experience, and appreciated the enhancement and friendly team. We will likely try another location in the future.
