Finally tried this take out only place and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the fish and the portion size. We used to go to Fremont bowl for their chirashi don but their quality had gone downhill so we stopped. We ordered the chirashi bowl and the salmon ikura bowl and both were fresh and delicious. We're happy we stopped by, will be back soon!

Portions are HUGE. Run by local Japanese family. Great service. Such a good deal! There are so many rip off stores in Seattle, with high prices and small portions, but Minato does not disappoint and made me so satisfied đź’• Inside is small so just plan on eating it as take out. I will be back again.

Finally decided to review after coming here multiple times. Cute little place to grab some donburi or one of their sushi sundaes. I’ve gotten the chirashi and salmon don so far and the quality of the fish is beyond excellent. Probably some of the best quality in Seattle and definitely the best in the Fremont area. The fish are cut into thick slices, too, so they aren’t skimping out on the amount of meat you get. It’s a very reasonable price for what you get. I highly recommend and I’ll be back a lot. They are takeout only, so keep that in mind. Pickup is very easy and quick and the staff are always really friendly!

Chirashi don is great! All of the fish tastes amazing and the variety is fantastic. They will do generous portions of rice as well, often more than I need but they can put less rice as well. No place to dine in— everything is exclusively takeout. One of the best places for fish in Wallingford.
