What a kind and caring group of volunteer’s… amazing place to donate to or pick up groceries from… Limited hours … Don’t go at the last minute… remember there are others and there will be a bit of a line, especially if you’re a first time visitor… check hours first. And show up early.

Haul from Mom's Pantry only thing expired was the hot dogs. Everything else is good or a few weeks out from the expiration date. I am very grateful for all the volunteers who put in hours of work to help others in need. Everyone needs a little help sometimes. Thank You Mom's Pantry for looking out for my family today. Pictures are the items I received and I forgot to take a picture of the bread which was great as well.

This place is filled with volunteers who smile and serve with compassion. On Saturdays, towards the middle to the end of the month, expect a long line. Some may choose to show up early before opening time... When the line starts to move, there's shade and wooden benches to rest up on. Once inside everyone is greeted. Make sure to bring proof of residency, electronic docs are ok and d.l. or i.d., and your good. After processing, there's a reception area filled with additional seating. They will help bring the food to your vehicle, or if you are walking they will unload the cart for you. The food is great. This is the same food that is sold at local stores, however for whatever reason the food can no longer be sold, so this organization helps control food waste and hunger. Everyone is encouraged to come weekly. Mom's Pantry is also open on Sundays too! They usually are closed on holidays so don't show up on Mother's Day like I did Lol 😀!!! Depending on family size it is usually enough food to last one to two weeks!

My fitness class took in donations for the entire month of December which we donated to Mom's Pantry. I had never heard of them before but they were chosen because the original recipient organization closed early even though I had made arrangements to drop off the donations that morning. When I arrived, I was greeted by the nicest gentleman who opened the pantry to receive the donations even though they were 'officially' closed for the holiday. While unloading the boxes of donated food, a guy walked up and asked for a bag of food. The kind gentleman did not turn him away even though they were in it closed. I was so touched by his generosity. He did not hesitate, not one second, to help the man. I will be donating to this organization again and recommending them to my friends as well.
