I wanted to like this place but it was kind of disappointing. I got the tuna poke bowl combo with spring salad and Mac salad, and it was one of the saddest bowl I ever got. The salad was like 8 pieces of salad leaves and the tuna had no flavor or sauce to go with it. The sauce pictured was hot sauce. The only reason this is a 3-star because of the musubis. The musubis was delicious. It was a little bit of too much rice but it was doable and blended well. The staff were friendly and order was quick and easy.

I recently visited Musubi, a Hawaiian cuisine restaurant, and while the experience was pleasant overall, I found that the cuisine just wasn’t for me. The restaurant itself is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. The atmosphere is casual yet thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable place to dine. The staff was genuinely nice, attentive, and happy to answer any questions, which added to the positive experience. As for the food, while I can appreciate the freshness and authenticity of the dishes, the flavors and style just didn’t quite match my personal taste. That said, for those who enjoy Hawaiian cuisine, I can see how this could be a great spot to check out. If you’re a fan of Hawaiian flavors, Musubi might be worth a visit. While it wasn’t for me, the quality and service were definitely there!

Small musubi shop in a good location downtown. Good value for a quick bite. The musubi is super tasty! I’d recommend the spam + egg + eel and the mac salad. Quick service and a decent amount of seating for how small the space is.

Such a wonderful experience! The food was super fresh and very obviously prepared with care. The Daikon was out of this world, and I had to stop myself from ordering more food even though I was stuffed, it was just that good! The flavors definitely took me back to my previous trip to Hawaii. My husband and I split the Spicy Pork Kimchee Donburis combo for our main dish, and the SPAM + Bacon + Avocado Musubi.

Awesome fresh food! They serve really quickly, and have a lot of unique options, pretty standard price for musubi around the city at about $5 each. The unagi/eel is pretty sweet but cooked well, never any rubbery parts like other places. Potato mac salad I would order with teriyaki sauce next time, very potato-y and maybe needs more salt but still good. They have a self order kiosk for my fellow introverts. :) Great location, too, right next to Pike's and the wheel, just a short walk to the waterfront after getting a nice snack.
