Decided to take a pottery class for the first time as a gift to myself. Ocisly's team were so welcoming, great at accommodating and teaching the necessary techniques for beginner throwers. I was able to pay them directly via Venmo to avoid additional booking fees which was convenient through an email request. The throwing class was fun and intimate with about 8 ppl. They provided clear instructions and have an effective system down to keep track of everyone's creations. The painting class was super fun and laid back. They had a plate with my dried pieces set up on a shared table in their courtyard area. Pick up was easy with everything alphabetized. I am happy with my finished pieces and look forward to doing it again! Highly recommend for locals and visitors.

I paid $230 for their “Plated - Intro to Pottery” workshop in April (a 3-class session). The class was fun, sure. But now I echo the other reviews regarding the horrendous lack of communication. I have emailed Cristina, as well as messaged OCISLY numerous times on IG, inquiring about my completed items. The class was in April…it is now July. Per the workshop details, the firing process is lengthy, but not 3 months! To spend that much money and not even walk away with your piece is an absolute ripoff. So, beware of their failure to respond to you. They are quick to reply when taking your payment (btw, do NOT pay via Zelle as they suggest, so that you at least have a chance to dispute the charge should you face this problem), but will absolutely ghost you after. Tried to support a small business, but NEVER again.

this was my first time ever doing pottery so I didn't know what to expect! A little nervous, I was instantly greeted by this gorgeous and beautiful home and friendly faces. Outside in the front was a glazing class but Cristina guided me to the back for the pottery and funk class. OCISLY made this so beginner-friendly, intimate, and overall fun class. Adam - our instructor - was SO helpful in demoing and on-hand individual help. I made some pieces that came out great (I REALLY did not expect to make some good pieces). I want to thank the OCISLY team for the event and the opportunity to meet and engage with new people. Take the opportunity to learn something new and meet some new people at OCISLY - you'll be surprised by your outcome.

Kristina was so helpful, accommodating, and patient with us during our class, we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. The studio was beautiful and the class made me fall in love with pottery, can’t wait to come back!!!

Great experience all around! Make sure you follow their instructions of where to find the studio! Google took me somewhere else lol. The vibe is chill and relaxing, loved that! We were able to work on 3-4 pieces and I made a few things. It’s byob! I brought a hard cider which def chilled my mood ever more. Thanks to Deb that was super patient and a great teacher! Excited to go back again soon.
