I had an amazing experience getting my Scuba Diving Certification at Pan Aqua Diving. I was super nervous and stressed at first, but my instructor, Kathryn, was an absolute angel. She was patient and encouraging at all times. I needed three lessons for my Open Water course and even took a break for about a year before coming back to complete my Confined Water Training, but Kathryn was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Scuba diving is not for the faint of heart, but working with Kathryn made it a fun and seamless process. Very professional and friendly. Lots of equipment in the shop. I mostly use them to have my gear serviced. They send out my equipment for servicing. I don’t think there are any dive shops in the NYC area that does in-house servicing anymore. Seems like a nice shop if you’re looking to meet other divers, go on group trips, and take classes.
