I called and left voice mails several times without receiving any responses regarding providing assistance to the homeless individuals in the vicinity of our business. I have also handed out their resource cards to homeless individuals, only to learn from one of the individuals that Phoenix Rescue Mission does not really help them. I’m led to believe him given that they did not respond like the website says. The financial donations I have given to Phoenix Rescue Mission will cease, as this is a disappointment to me. I thought they really cared and wanted to help those in need. It seems like they’re for profit $, rather than not.

Phoenix/Mesa Rescue Missions are junk. Unless your ready to jump in to a 9 month commitment with GOD! don't waste your time. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU! they will however make you more miserable. If you look at their 4 and 5 Star ratings, 90 % 0f them are ancient. On April 30th 2025, I was taken to get my ID that was desperately needed. Rescue Mission picked me up and paid for my ID, Fantastic. The only thing that I was a little bitter about, but didnt say anything, was I lost out on a $175 focus group because the guy that was taking me didn't want to wait in line so he had to find a DMV that was less crowded. Should have my ID in 10 days or less, Dude was gonna call me when he had it. 14 days go by no phone call. so I call him to "please leave a message" multiple phone calls for seven days. No answers. Week 4 Im gonna call the main office and get this figured out. Called for 7 days left numerous messages. they did not return one of my calls. So now I go down there Its June 2nd. for the first time I got some answers and a promise of hope. And then the security guard said "just call this person" guess what she has never answered her phone for me. Its now june 5th, dead ass homeless once again. So if you here names like Troy or Sabrina. Run like nobody's business. These people have set me back 6 months, Apartment...gone. Job... gone. it sickens me and I hope that this will help somebody to be better informed about what they really do. Bryan

On April 4th, 2014, I walked through the front gates, and my life changed forever. It's now been 11 years sober. Thank you, phoenix rescue mission. Thank you, Chaplin Gabe Soto.

This place really saved my life. They helped me get my hepatitis c cured, my drivers license back after 17 years, a strong relationship with God and countless other miracles. I literally have a life beyond my wildest dreams along with 3 years off of drugs. Since graduating, I've gotten married, had a baby, been employed steadily as a social worker and I've started pursuing my dream of becoming a tattoo artist. I have come such a long way from being a lost and broken drug addict. Thank you PRM and specifically Mr. Jones for giving hope to a wretch like me.
