My daughter has a quirky old English Raleigh with a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub that was having trouble with the freewheel engaging. I called around to a couple shops to see if they would work on it and they declined pointing me to Geoff at Portland Bicycle Emporium. I stopped by with the bike and though he was busy he looked at the bike and was immediately able to identify the problem and fix it in about five minutes. Amazing! Thank you!

Quick, friendly, & Thorough service! Brought bike in due to spokes busting, ended up with a new wheel, better tire, and my old '72 Schwinn is running like new. Cool little shop. Can't see how to do 2nd review (late April 2025), but Geoff saved my butt again, squeezed me in for a quick tire repair on a super-busy day! What a dude. This will continue to be my go-to shop in a town full of bike repair shops!

Geoff is great and always helpful. The work is good, and the prices are good. I do a lot of the simple work myself but I always grab the parts here if I can because the prices are good and I can support a local shop. More complex stuff I'll have him do the work.
