Can't recommend this tour enough! My friend and I did the Bustling Buckman Hood tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Michael, was so knowledgeable about Portland's food scene and just great to hang out with for a few hours. He introduced us to several places we never would have found otherwise and left us with a huge list of further recommendations to try. My only regret is that we didn't do this tour earlier in our trip so that we had more time to get to all these places!

We absolutely loved the Bustling Buchman tour with Michael. Michael was a perfect culinary guide and a great ambassador for Portland and its thriving food culture. Each stop on the tour was tremendous and truly introduced us to flavors and cuisines we had not previously tried. Our group had a mixture of adventurous and somewhat picky eaters, and each and everyone couldn’t have been pleased. Highly recommend.

We live in Seattle, and come to Portland often. But we decided to do a private food tour when we came down for a quick weekend. Sherri was amazing! She took us to a neighborhood that we had never been to. We had the opportunity to go to a couple of really cool markets, and try food from local restaurants that we had never seen. If you’re in Portland and want a great experience, definitely call Sherry at Portland by Mouth!

I did the Kern hood tour and it was AMAZING! The food was diverse and we got solid portions at each restaurant. The guide was very friendly and super knowledgeable about Portland! Ask her anything and she’s got an answer! I was alcohol free for my options and they had a virgin pina colada for me so that was awesome! Highly recommend if you’re visiting Portland and want a unique experience.

First time visiting Oregon so we decided to book a food tour to experience Portland’s food scene and the city… Paula was our guide and native Oregonian which made the experience that much better! Her knowledge of the history of the area and the places we visited was great! She’s fun and made us feel completely at ease as we walked and talked and tasted all the uniquely different and delicious food! Loved our adventure and would highly recommend!!
