Before I finished the course: The course has been helpful. I like how Laureano put the schedule together as far as linking topics that are similar across subjects. It helped to see the topics from different angles and often times seeing it from a different angles helped me better understand it in another area. The schedule is intense 8 hours a day 5 days a week but necessary to build stamina. I enjoyed studying with my group on Zoom. It held me accountable and made me feel less alone in the process of studying. 4 weeks is a short amount of time to get through all the material so I would say you would need at least 6. Some of the videos are hard to hear and Laureano talks very fast. Overall the course has been helpful currently waiting to take the MCAT. After the course: Overall after taking the course i did not feel fully prepared to take the MCAT in 3 months. I ended up canceling my test. While the videos and structure was nice there was not enough practice to really prepare for the test and after you get through content review you are sort of on your own. For first time MCAT studiers like myself that was not ideal and I found myself not really knowing what to do each day. I wished Laureano was more helpful with us one on one. The MCAT is a beast to study for and I wish he would've given us more practical study skills.

Finding MCAT Disciples has made me realize that I was studying the MCAT all wrong! The course not only enforced the discipline needed to do well on MCAT, but also it has helped me gained a better understanding of the intersection of the concepts needed to do well on the exam. At the beginning of the course, the 10 hours session seemed like a drag because I wasn’t used to studying for such a long amount of time WITHOUT distractions. Laureano does a good job at integrating practice questions, passages, and content review examples in his lectures. I am an auditory and visual learner, so the lectures were great for my studying style. In addition, I enjoyed the schedule because it made me go back to the previous days to review, so it helped me retain more information. I am so glad I found the MCAT disciples course!

Using MCAT Disciples has been very beneficial. I really enjoy the structure and flow of the course. I can already tell a difference between my study pattern before MCAT Disciples and now that I'm in the course. I also see small improvements (score wise) in certain subjects thanks to the course. Before this course I was using the self-study method with no real structure or lectures to learn from but now I have all of that and it gives me the motivation to study 5 days a week for 8hrs a day. The course instructor is very easy to contact and is always available to answer questions.

This course has been a God-send! I have struggled with finding a schedule for my MCAT, and finding the right material to use! Thanks to the MCAT Disciples, I feel that I have the tools that will help me receive the best score possible on my MCAT! This course also helped me realize some of my weaknesses when it came to my study habits, focus, reading habits, and my time management habits. Laureano and the team are extremely helpful, and they indeed care about our success. The videos and the schedules are super beneficial! My goal is to become a Podiatrist, and this course will help me become one step closer to the possibility of getting accepted to my dream Podiatry School! Thank you, MCAT Disciples!

This course is great for content review. The videos are about 1-1.5 hrs however they really cover entire topics with visuals, examples, and practice problems. I prefer having MCAT topics covered in one lecture instead of having to watch a bunch of shorter videos. Laureno does a good job pin pointing the topics that will be covered on the MCAT and does not waste your time since he mentions the topics covered from the MCAT list at the start of most videos. The daily schedule is packed and keeps you moving through the material smoothly while emphasizing practice problems that really help solidify your knowledge on topics. The only issues I had with the course was that sometimes the volume for the videos was low. Laureno himself is very helpful and makes himself available to students. Would recommend this course to others. Thank you MCAT Disciples!
