My family has loved Renaissance Adventures summer camps for years. My kids consistently request them every year. I had the pleasure of booking a birthday party, which took place yesterday. Sam and Owen went above and beyond! My son wanted a Minecraft quest, and they delivered - they were even knowledgeable about game mechanics and characters. For the final battle, they involved the parents, which was so fun! RA is socially/emotionally aware, and trains their counselors extremely well. They should always be sold out. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I HATE to be this way, but I have to say something. I was at a public park, minding my own business, reading a book and enjoying my day when this summer camp arrived about an hour after I did. I have worked many summer camps so when they all broke out into groups around the park and the kids were all excited, it did not bother me. WHAT DID BOTHER ME was the group that came to where I was sitting (again, off to the side on a blanket) and put their stuff down ON MY BLANKET THAT I WAS SITTING ON. They could not have gotten closer to me if they tried. They are sword fighting behind me and throwing stuff ONTO my blanket. THERE IS AN ENTIRE PARK. I was the only non-summer camp person there and there was 3/4th of the rest of the space that was empty. It’s a PUBLIC park. I am immune compromised , I don’t want (and frankly can’t have) the items of germ buckets touching my stuff and them within coughing distance of me. There are plenty of adults watching these kids, and it was AN ADULT who chose to put their group ON TOP OF ME. I do not blame the kids at all, they are there to have fun, but whoever is in charge of this company, do better. Teach kids respect, manners, and personal space by EXAMPLE. I had to pack my stuff up and leave. Ruined my morning..

It was awesome! I wrote Renaissance Adventures to request information on their birthday parties... Tiffany responded quickly with the answers that I needed, and she included the data that she in turn needed from me to begin organizing this Swashbuckling Adventure. I could not be happier with the efficiency in coordination, keeping me updated with the progress, and the follow through after the party occurred. Indigo was our Quest Leader. The children fought non-stop for 1.5 hours and somehow he kept up with the kids. Indigo was so good with the them and they thoroughly enjoyed the fighting and the ideas he came up with. I do recall my child indicating that he was an Ice Dragon at one point. lol Two of the children said that they really want Renaissance Adventures for their birthdays and one adult would like them for a work event. Random adults at the park came by to say that they got a kick out of watching the kids play. I couldn't be happier. One can't do better than that! Thank you!

We have been going here for 3 years and our daughters always have a wonderful time during summer camp. It is their #1 favorite of the many camps we have tried. I love that the kids are out and active all day, both physically and mentally. This is such an awesome idea for a summer camp, and it is executed very well. All the staff and counselors I've interacted with have been great. Wish I'd had a camp like this when I was a kid!
