I want to be nice because it's a charity thrift store but I have never bought anything here in all my years of living in Seattle and visiting the shop. First of all, the hours are bizarre so it's never open. And second, the prices inside are insane. Used Costco Kirkland zip-ups for $30. Shein, old navy, and h&m $20 per item. That's how much these things cost new! I can understand marking up brands like Eileen Fisher or Ann Taylor, but everything in the store is overpriced. Even with the somewhat regular 50% off sales, it still doesn't make sense to buy much here. You can find almost everything they sell at Goodwill for a fraction of the price. I would say the best thing about this store is the jewelry selection. But again, no bargains to be had. If you are around and it's open, poking in doesn't hurt. But you're not missing much if it's closed.

There are incredible insensitive personnel working/managing the store. When I visited today, upon entering, one of the employees/volunteers had said something about a man that was making a purchase in the store. The employee/volunteer continued to make these remarks to everyone who entered the store and murmured under her breath as she went around the store. The man did seem to be experiencing some sort of hardship and did have an odor, but was a paying customer who was not causing any sort of disturbance. When finishing his purchase, he was kind and refused his change saying something along the lines of “everyone could use some spare change these days.” The man BARELY left the store before the employee/volunteer started to spray the entire store with Lysol and continue to make a scene out of a simple interaction with a paying customer. Additionally, when I went to return an item to the rack that I decided not to purchase, the same employee/volunteer stopped me in my tracks to ask if I was going to buy that item. When I said no, she went on to say that that item did look like it would be too small on me. While the item was unflattering on me, it was not too small and I would’ve enjoyed leaving the store without comments regarding my body. The comment would’ve been dismissed if it did not seem she went out of her to say I was too large for an item I was considering purchasing. An overall disappointing experience that I hope isn’t a repeat occurrence. This single time visiting left a bad enough impression to never revisit.
