It's a nice park but the trail is not very friendly for the handicap. I would like to see the bridge not be stairs on at least one of the paths closest to the entrance for handicap parking. I didn't fully go through the right side only the left side of the trail but it was difficult to walk around the path without climbing. Not a lot of parking but it's expected near downtown. I don't go to many parks downtown so it is not a pocket park it is an actual large park so take my review with not much weight because real estate for Dallas Parks are limited.

Beautiful spacious park with plenty of open grassy areas-great for dogs, picnics, or just relaxing. There’s a playground for kids and a basketball court across the street from the main area (still part of the park) and easy access to the Katy Trail, which makes it great for walking, running or biking. They have poop bag stations for dogs, which is great, but the water fountain stations have been out of order for a while - that’s really the only downside besides the occasional transient presence. Overall, it’s a clean, well-kept park that I enjoy visiting daily.

Fairly well-kept. It’s a pretty area. There is a playground. Lots of space to throw a frisbee or play fetch with your dog. The ponds and stream can get poorly littered sometimes which is disappointing and sad. Please be kind to the unhoused folks not bothering people under the bridges. I wish more people were courteous of animals, plants, and each other. Remember, the earth is everyone’s home. The walking path is nice. This park could be better, but it’s not bad!
