This is one of Seattle’s finest gems. It’s a genuine treat to hang with the staff here in their exhibition craft cocktail bar & kitchen. They always have a great selection of unique spirits and fantastic house cocktails, as well as most classics, plus my favorite, Malort! Their farm fresh menu shines when you’re looking for a nice dinner date night before an event, or a place to sit, read and enjoy whatever the fried snack of the day might be!

Our second time coming here pre-theater. (Honey, can we just get more wine and skip the theater?). Small, changing, very creative menu. We had the steak, the carrots, risotto and squash. Plus good cocktails. Bar seating only. Charming and fun.

I've been coming to Rochambeau for about 2 years now and over that time I have tried nearly every cocktail on the menu, as well as dozens off the menu and I've yet to be disappointed. I'm continually impressed by the creativity and deep knowledge of the Rochambeau crew. When I first started coming here, I thought I hated most kinds of spirits, but they have completely changed my opinion on just about everything for the better. As far as the food goes, words don't cut it. Some of the absolute best bites I've had in my life have been at Rochambeau. With a rapidly changing menu, there's always something new to try, and the portions are quite generous too. The atmosphere is great, the music selection is always fun, and it's a vibrant place to socialize with locals and people passing through alike. The crew are all cool as hell, unpretentious, and extremely good at what they do. It's incredible what 4 (now 3) individuals pulling together in the same direction can put out night after night. Cool bar!

I’m actually quite literally blown away by this establishment. First, it’s beautifully decorated and designed. I really like the “first come first serve” concept when it comes to rotating menus. We got the shishito peppers, which were beautiful paired with pickled melon and kale. Next we ordered smoked carrots and burrata, which you could never go wrong with. For the mains we had the steak and scallop dishes. Both were cooked perfectly (without having to ask) and garnished wonderfully. When I think of great food these dishes fulfill every criteria. We ordered 2 drinks each and ended up having 2 sets of mystery shots, which were $8 and very very fun. Overall I love this place and I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family who visit Seattle, and I will dream about them until I come back.
