I can't even begin how to explain how grateful I am for the Ronald Mcdonald house!! I have 2 children with medical issue that bring us to Portland often. This place has made it almost a fun experience that my kids (at least my 7 years old) have started to look forward to. The staff is amazing! They feed you dinner, and provide space to store your own food. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are a ton of things to do for every age. They have laundry facilities. Game rooms, a library, a music room, 2 outside parks, and even a community garden for everyone to get fresh veggies from. Please, if you travel for medical reasons, call the Ronald McDonald House. And if you ever have a chance to donate, please consider doing so. Take it from someone who has gained so much from this place, they use every penny to ensure families and their sick children are well taken care of while dealing with such difficult things.
