Good atmosphere good space overall. Good service. I ordered a cappuccino and did not taste good, was burnt and very small for the price. Also I ordered a hummus plates and was sad to say the least. Looks like a 5 year old kid put it together on a disposable plate. I will keep searching for a nice cafe in slc

Stopped by late Friday night after enjoying Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 at the Utah Symphony, and I’m so glad this place is open until 1 AM! It’s a great spot to unwind in the area. The hot chocolate was delicious—especially with whipped cream. 😉 The staff was super friendly and nice to chat with, which made the experience even better. Definitely a cozy late-night gem!

Coffee was acceptable and the girls behind the counter do their best to give good service. I frequent this coffee house as it is the only one open this late. However, the owner (boss), was extremely rude. I was waiting on my Americano and Cherry Pie when there was an incident with the Salt Lake Police and a homeless man. I was filming the incident to ensure transparency, when he forced me out of the store. He kept repeating that I wasn't a customer, even though I had an Americano in my hand and I was still awaiting my pie. Every time I tried to explain that I was still waiting for my pie, he raised his voice and kept repeating "you need to leave, you are not a customer". Coffee bars tend to present a certain social awareness as that is the type of customer that frequents them. This one is no exception; however if you want to be socially aware, don't just slap some posters on the wall. Care about your fellow man, and treat all humans with the dignity they deserve. I WAS a customer. I will NOT be a customer again. Do yourself and your conscience a favor. Frequent a coffee bar where they are socially aware and treat people with dignity, as opposed to one that just pays lip service to social awareness.

Salt Lake Coffee break is a wonderful shop, been around for at least 20 years. All the university students and late night workers come here to work. Coffee exactly how you like. Just ask the baristas, they are always kind to me.
