I took a "day of clay" class and absolutely loved it! Tanya was a very patient, kind, and encouraging instructor. It was my first time doing any kind of ceramics and she was great at making me feel supported and comfortable in the space (which is lovely btw... small and intimate) and provided the right balance of jumping in to help when needed while giving me the freedom to try, fail, and try again :-) Would highly recommend for anyone thinking of dipping a toe or two into the world of pottery.

I took a one day of clay class to see how pottery is really made. Overall, it was a good experience. The class covered the basics of how to form clay into a cup/bowl shape on a pottery wheel. Everything after the initial forming (drying, glazing, firing, etc - not sure what all it takes because the class didn't go over those) was done after the class by the instructor, and we were able to pick up our creations about a week or two later.
