Customer service is lacking. The lifeguards don’t look happy and the requests they make are in an unfriendly tone. They kick everyone out ten minutes before closing time. There’s not much to this pool unless you like doing laps as they have an indoor and outdoor lap pool. It appears to be well maintained.

The worst of the worst, if possible. Salt Lake already panders to swim teams for pocket lining purposes, but to leave 1 lane of a 50m pool open for lap swimmers and have the “manager on deck” aka teenage twit with an attitude who legit said about the second lane “this is an accommodation lane but we use it for splash and swim”. I was refused an accommodation with my hip and knee replacement. People were leaving because of the chaos. But the 8 person swim team had fun in 5 lanes. Hard pass on this place and their awful employees.

I had a terrible experience this afternoon today when I arrived to ask about the swimming pool. There was a brunette girl she said to me in a sarcastic tone that there was not a pool open for kids. Does people like to work there? Looks like she was forced to do their job. I think interrupted her movie.

So many different fitness activities to choose from, pool is excellent. Sadly, swim teams absorb most of the lanes, a majority of the time. Swim teams could use their own high school pool? Why don’t they? Also, swim teams should be REQUIRED to have their own lifeguards and use the outdoor pool. Why isn’t this a consideration??? Hmmm? Why the bleep, is the outdoor pool closed?? Just because the calendar says October? Are they, the administrators unable to make an exception? They could use use something called judgement? It’s is still in the eighties (2024 Oct) every freaking day. A public taxpayer funded recreational center, which gives swim-teams the best time of day to swim absorbing the majority (90%) of the pool space. But hey, if you’re retired you can easily swim 11-3 before the swim teams kick you out. That’s not a positive aspect for the average swimmer who PAID to use the pool. As expected, the outdoor pool is only open for a brief 4-5 five months.

A true lap pool for swimmers. Not suited for children. Fortunately, there are lots of choices.
