So very very happy with the service at this store. We brought in a used snow board to buy boots for my daughter and JP suggested that, because of the age and therefore brittleness of her current bindings, we get new bindings. Without breaking the bank, we walked away to head up north with a safe snow board. JP looked at videos of my daughter boarding last year (on a rental board) and fitted her board according to her comfort. He was so awesome!

These "custom fitted" boots are so painful they make me not want to ski It was a disappointing experience overall. I dropped the money on custom fitted ski boots thinking it would be a great investment into a comfortable and improved time on the slopes, but it has been anything but comfortable. I wear a size 13 shoe which, according to sizing charts, should put me at about a size 31-31.5. They put me in a size 28.5 ski boot, which, according to sizing charts, is for a size 10.5 shoe. When I brought this up they dismissed my worries and told me that these sizing charts do not apply to custom fitted boots and that from my foot measurements, a 28.5 is the best size to start from to fit my feet. They may be right, but my experience indicates otherwise. The first time I used these "custom fitted" boots, I had constant pain, no circulation in my foot and ended up with massive blisters under the nails of my big toes, which resulted in my toenails falling off. I then took the boots back and had my worries about incorrect sizing dismissed and was told the boots just needed tweaked. They adjusted the boots for me, but only the toenail problem was solved. I have tried skiing in these boots a few more times, and the constant pain and the blockage of circulation is still there. If I don't stop every couple of runs to take my feet out and let blood flow and get a break from the pain I fear I'll start losing toes or something.

Just bought my first pair of new ski boots and Jon(? shoot I think that was his name) was amazing. I have a very wide foot and have never had a comfortable ski boot. He took the time to mold my liners and that didn't quite do enough so then he molded the boot shell. I thought I was being a PITA because he had to make several adjustments but he was so nice all the way through the process and made sure that I didn't leave the shop until the boots were comfortable. Highly recommend this shop for a custom boot fitting. As Jon told me, happy feet = happy skiing!
