Target in Midtown is a convenient and well-stocked store, offering a wide variety of products across all departments. The store is generally clean and organized, making it easy to navigate and find what you need. Whether you’re shopping for groceries, home essentials, or clothing, the selection is great, and shelves are usually well-stocked. However, customer service is the biggest drawback. It’s not an issue of understaffing, but rather a noticeable lack of engagement and attentiveness from employees. Finding help can be difficult, and interactions often feel impersonal, as if assistance is more of a chore than a priority. Aside from that, it’s just another Target—reliable for everyday shopping but nothing exceptional. If you know what you need and prefer a self-sufficient shopping experience, it gets the job done. However, if customer service is important to you, don’t expect much beyond the basics.

Great parking, very easy to find. There's also a Starbucks in here. Not too full but the s3lf checkout is pretty quick depending on the amount of items you're buying. (10 or less)

If you're looking for a traditional big box retail experience with free parking for quick in-and-out visits, this Target location is not for you. However, if you enjoy the shopping experience, you'll find well-stocked shelves once finally you get inside.

Who in their right mind would think of doing a drive up in a paid parking lot? Why is everyone at this location rude? Does target even care about this location at all? Bathrooms are always disgusting. I wish I could give this zero stars because I feel like I’m lying by giving it 1. I wonder if the store director even cares enough about the upkeep of this store or if he/she is just waiting for a promotion and just passing off the problem to whoever comes next.

Last night around 9:30 PM, I stopped by Target to grab a few things. When I went to check out, I headed to the self-checkout area like I usually do. There was no line at self-checkout, while the staffed registers were completely packed. I had 12 items. A staff member stopped me and informed me that self-checkout was now limited to “10 items or less” and directed me to a regular register. I pointed out that there was no line and asked why I couldn’t just pay there, but she insisted and sent me away. Only one register had its light on, and the line was extremely long. I tried another register that appeared open, but the cashier told me he was taking his last customer before going on break. At that point, I returned to self-checkout and was stopped again—this time by TY, the man overseeing the area. He asked how many items I had, and I told him 12. I suggested my son could take two items so I could comply with the 10-item limit. TY immediately said, “You can’t do that.” I asked, “Why not? He’s a person, I’m a person—what’s the big deal, especially when there’s no one in line?” He gave me a flat-out no, with an attitude. He started getting sassy, raising his voice and repeating, “Ma’am, this... Ma’am, that…” I calmly asked him not to speak to me like that, but he seemed irritated and continued in the same tone. At that point, I just walked away. TY had said he would open a register for me, but instead of helping directly, he made a younger employee—who had just said he was about to go on break—stay and take me. That only added to my frustration. If TY was going to insist I couldn’t use self-checkout, the least he could’ve done was help me himself. The rigidity, lack of empathy or flexibility -is what I don’t get. With so many other stores in the area—Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods—it’s disappointing to see Target treat customers like an inconvenience instead of making things just a little easier.
