I have an abundance of wonderful things to say about The Good Nail I don’t even know where to start! Ahh how about that I drive from Independence to Portland which is about 1 1/2 hours without traffic (and only had 1 speeding ticket because I didn’t want to be late.. which is also why I pick early appointments) but if that’s not saying how good she is I’m not sure what will ☺️ And if you do drive that far, make a day of it! That’s what I do, my boyfriend and I will go out to eat somewhere fun or during the summer go have a picnic! So many things to do in Portland! I have been going here for 4 years now, I found The Good Nail randomly on Instagram. I had been looking for someone who specialized in Japanese style hard/soft gel I desperately needed a healthy way of getting my nails done, I had been doing acrylic prior and my nail beds were so thin and brittle which also didn’t help my bad habit of nail biting and picking 🫣 but when I met Noel she explained to me in depth of the proper way to take care of my nails and get them back to a stronger healthy life! I was so excited! I personally get my nails filled every 4/5 weeks. I have pushed 6-8 weeks because my schedule gets hairy sometimes I don’t recommend doing that! This style nail lasts a lot longer and better than other nail styles. The pricing is great, you are paying for what you get! Art isn’t cheap! This is the cleanest, chillest, nail studio I have ever been to! For 4 years my nails have never looked better! They are healthy and so strong! The photos are my natural nails, that’s right I said NATURAL NAILS! I couldn’t believe it either! If you are looking for someone who genuinely cares about your nails health, then you need to go to Noel! Now art work speaks for itself in my photos! Absolutely stunning! Every time I leave I’m in love! Noel takes an idea, inspo pic and runs with it! Making my nail dreams come to life!!! I’m always so excited to get to the car and show my boyfriend, it’s the first things he asks to see because he loves her work just as much! He always lowkey judges other nails he see 🤭 he’s a nail snob now thanks to Noel 🤣 I forgot to mention the amazing cuticle oil that has saved my nails as well! She makes it herself and it smells amazing! You also get a lotion, cuticle oil massage at the end that is my favorite part! I forgot to mention the amazing tv shows and movies you get to watch while getting your nails done! Noel always thinks about her clients and what they would like to watch I always come in to something different and it’s great! And most importantly remember art takes time! And Noel is a perfectionist at her art ❤️ (I only showed a few of the million photos I have hehe)

Noel is AMAZING, I’ve been coming here every three/four weeks for a couple years now. My nails are healthier, they are perfect every time. I cannot stress how game changing the nail experience she gives is! I look forward to it, it’s my favorite. I had acrylic for years and this is SO much better, love my old nail ladies but they don’t hold a candle to Noel. She does every weird, funky idea (whether it’s cheese, an outfit, candy, etc.) and makes it better than my original idea! Not to mention you get to watch movies/shows during the appointment. I could go on and on, but she’s the very best when it comes to gel. Couldn’t recommend more for gel nail overlay/extensions!
