I've been coming to Greenroom 42 since 2019 on a pretty regular basis. And I am so impressed with the caliber of room that it is. The sound system and the lighting are incredible-- and Sheridan, who does both is quite a genius at making sure the quality of sound is exceptional, and that the lighting is incredibly artistic and perfect for whatever song is being done. The people who greet you when you come to Pick up your tickets are lovely, the wait staff is very friendly and hard-working, and the food is incredible and unique, as are the drinks. It's a real listening room also. And if there's ever a problem, you need to email them about something, they're very quick to get back to you and help you figure out whatever it is you need. It's my favorite listening room in New York City.

This place is so well hidden (inside the Yotel 4th Fl) and when you walk in, you are greeted with kind staff members and an intimate, dim-lit space. You get to feel apart of performance because of how close you can be to the stage (not to mention compelling light visuals, and the sweet spot for listening!!) The show I attended on Halloween was fantastic! ☺️

I had a wonderful experience at greenroom42. The prices are reasonable, the servers were attentive. I ordered mocktail and dessert. The rooftop has a great panoramic view of buildings. I attended an outdoor movie. There's enough space that no one was sitting on top of each other. It does get a windy outside in the evenings so bring jacket and your own blanket. I'd visit again.
