A great place for storytellers. I was there for “Tell It On Tuesdays” and was pleasantly surprised by music before and after. I will take the stage on 5/27/2025 and on the Marsh Stream.

The Marsh is a community performing arts theater in Downtown Berkeley with two areas - a 75-120 seat main area for plays, as well as a secondary 60 seat cabaret area with bar. The plays (often by solo performers) are high quality and reasonably priced, and there are occasionally free shows for the public. In addition to being a performance space, the Marsh also hosts community classes for children and adults. Some of these local and up-and-coming performers can be seen in the recurring weekly and monthly events, both in Berkeley and SF.
