Valet parking was offered for $6 which was the most convenient option. Hosts during checking in for reservation were friendly. And as walking in greeted by other employees as well. Since it was just me, I sat at the bar. Patrick was my server/bartender. He explained the drinks well in regards to ingredients and taste. Food was good. I ordered the octopus, wood roasted oysters, and the duck fat poached swordfish. Everything was delicious. Was advised they change options on their menu often so will definitely be back.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this restaurant — and we were absolutely delighted! 🥂 The atmosphere was cozy, the service was top-notch, and our waiter was especially attentive and kind — thank you to him for the care and warmth. The food truly deserves special praise: the oysters were incredibly fresh, the Arctic char was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth, and for dessert, we had a delightful meringue dessert — light, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious!

The Optimist...because of its rave reviews, we went here for my birthday. My honest opinion is overall, it was an 8 out of 10. The service, Donnie and Emma were great! The rolls that they bring to your table, I tried not to eat but one bite and they were gone soft, buttery and a little sweet.The Lobster Rolls were a good appetizer, I could have eaten a couple of those. Our entrees, the Flounder and Blacken Arctic Char, were ok, but what I enjoyed the most about our entree was our side of what they call Kedgeree (a fancy fried rice) so flavorful! The drinks were really small lol but good as well.

Had a table but waited at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly so ended up having meal there. Well mixed drinks. I had the Odyssey and my wife enjoyed a mocktail. The ceviche was awesome with a little kick to it. Went with the halibut and wife had the scallops. Both so well cooked and full of flavor. The oysters were also great. Left too full for dessert but will definitely be back!

Fantastic restaurant! We went there for our 23rd anniversary, and everything was exceptional. From the hostess to the busboy, everyone warmly wished us a happy anniversary. They even brought us complimentary wine to celebrate. Our server, Autumn, was absolutely wonderful—if you can, definitely ask for her. She had a fantastic personality, gave spot-on recommendations, and truly made our dinner feel special. We enjoyed an Old Fashioned, oysters, mussels, redfish, and finished with the banana split for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious.
