I’m sure the Pilates studio is nice, but the patrons of the studio are rude and inconsiderate of the people who live in the neighborhood. This person blocked our driveway and when they were talked to to let them know we couldn’t leave our driveway they gave a smart reply back like “glad it worked out”. This is not a one off occurrence with the patrons of this place. At the very least once a week this happens with someone that lives in the neighborhood. I know that people only go to one class and then go home so it’s not a big deal for them, but the people that live here see this from the time it opens to when it closes. We really don’t mind when people park on our street, especially when it supports small businesses, but the people that park like that make it tough for us to cohabitate equally.

I’ve been going to the point Pilates for 10 years now, and I’m definitely a lifer! Not only is Hollie, the owner, an amazing instructor, she also really cares about her community and the members! Everyone there is down to earth and great, and even though the classes are challenging, all of the instructors are super patient, it never feels competitive, and everyone feels welcome. I’ve never felt pressured to do more than I’m capable of, and I think that’s the general vibe everyone feels there! However, I do love the challenge each class presents, and when I’m going consistently, multiple times a week, I notice results really fast. It’s my favorite work out, and it has been a game changer for me. I love it so much and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for body sculpting and a community of fabulous people to work out with!

The Point Pilates is my favorite place to workout. Hollie, the owner, has created a positive, accepting, and encouraging workout environment for everyone. A wonderful range of classes from Pilates to HIIT to personal training that everyone can find a place in. Hollie truly cares about her clients and has a love for fitness that is contagious! I love that she also has virtual classes so even though I live out of town right now I can still join classes! Sign up for a class right away! You won’t regret it!

At The Point Pilates, the primary activity is Reformer Pilates, a form of low-impact exercise that emphasizes core strength, flexibility, and controlled movement. The studio specializes in 45-minute reformer classes, which are perfect for groups since they fit well into busy schedules, allowing everyone to participate without taking up the whole day. These classes cater to all levels, so beginners won’t feel out of place, and experienced Pilates aficionados can still find a challenge. Because classes are small and capped at around eight students, your group can attend the same session without overcrowding, ensuring each person receives personalized guidance. For groups looking to bond, synchronizing their fitness journey through Pilates classes creates shared goals and accomplishments. Beyond reformer workouts, the studio promotes clean and safe practices such as regular sanitation and spaced equipment to ensure a comfortable environment, which is especially important for group health. The Point Pilates also encourages connection with their friendly, woman-owned, and LGBTQ-friendly culture, making it an inviting choice for diverse friend groups.

Since classes are intimate and have limited capacity, groups can call ahead to reserve spots together, ensuring a cohesive experience. The instructors are highly trained and capable of modifying exercises to fit individual needs within a group setting, allowing each person to work at their pace while still feeling part of the team. This makes it ideal for friends with different experience levels in Pilates or fitness generally. The focused nature of Reformer Pilates classes at The Point Pilates offers a structured yet adaptable format where everyone can benefit without feeling overwhelmed. Small group semi-private lessons may also be available, providing a more personalized session if your group prefers a customized approach. This adaptability invites mixed groups of friends or family members to join, fostering a supportive environment where each person can enjoy and grow in their physical wellness journey.
