My partner and I have been coming every Sunday since April and for an intimate small class atmosphere, a hard sweat, and a great workout look no further. It's hard and it's fun, and the instructor holds you accountable for your own workout and getting better every class And if you need sugar, water, tea, a hair tie, to collapse on the carpet, she's got it all covered so that you can have your best workout Eastlake if you haven't been by you need to come! I'll see you on Sunday!

Kick ass cycling class. Instructor is focused on in-sync and rhythmic riding and wont be shy about cueing! If you are just looking for a stats-based cycling class, this might not be the one for you. If you are looking to be pushed and ride communally with your fellow classmates, not a better class in the city!!

I would leave 0 stars if I could, instructor Aina got off the instructor bike podium to yell at me for not having rhythm, clapping in my face to try to demonstrate the beat, and embarrassingly, drew the entire class's attention to me being off beat, and told me I would be dismissed from the class if I couldn't ride faster like the rest of the group. 😓 It was my first ride at this studio, and definitely last with this instructor. Your score goes on a screen at the front of the class, with no option to opt out at check-in like at CycleBar. I should have read the other reviews (and the owner responses to the reviews) 😬

TLDR; instructor was cold and unmotivating, business did not honor BOGO offer and continues to try to charge my card to this day. When you hear the trope of gyms being difficult to cancel, this is that gym. This place offers group cycle classes and group HIIT classes. The business card and building indicate new clients can buy one month of services and get the second month free. *THIS WAS NOT ACCRUATE IN MY EXPERIENCE* I took one of the HIIT classes and had an alright experience. It was 30 minutes and just me and one other participant in what appeared to be a small garage with little ventilation. During the class the instructor had asked us both what we would do if we didn't have to work, and money was taken care of. The instructor didn't like my response and scoffed at me while appearing to favor the other participants' response. I found this mildly off-putting but still enjoyed the quick convenient workout. I registered through MINDBODY for a month of the HIIT classes. I attended a couple more classes that month (each experience similar with the instructor seemingly not interested in engaging with me, even for small talk) and decided to do the free month and then call it quits. To my shock the gym changed me for the second month. The gym was very hard to get ahold of, I left several messages and emails that went unanswered - all requesting to cancel my membership and refund me for the second month. This process continued into the third month when they charged me again. I eventually looked up their class schedule and waited in the boutique gym to speak to the instructor prior to class and informed her I have been trying to cancel my membership and need to be refunded for the two months I was erroneously charged. She made a few clicks on the computer and then said it was taken care of. I confirmed TWICE that my account was cancelled and that I would be refunded both months and she said 'yes'. To my surprise 10 business days later, I only received ONE refund month and a charge for the following month. To this day the gym continues to try to charge my card, I had to dispute the transactions with my credit card company and put a stop payment for future transactions. I wish I had done the stop payment much sooner. The disputed charges were resolved in my favor, but the process took months.

I have many years of cycling experience in major cities in all of the US as I travel for work, including instructor experience at a well known cycling business. I was simply looking for a local cycling business to support as I just moved to the area. I would NOT recommend this cycle studio to anyone experienced or beginner. I was only able to tolerate Aina and her terrible attitude and instruction for 15 minutes before I got off the bike and left ruining my workout of the day. Cycling is supposed to be positive, inclusive, uplifting, inviting, and fun. Aina was the opposite of all of those things. During the class instead of focusing on teaching the class she was criticizing every single thing I did, including demanding where keep my eyes? She got off her bike multiple times in the 15 minutes I was there to critique and criticize everything I did and told me I was not to do choreography as it was my first time at her studio which made me a “beginner”. My breaking point was after I tried to ignore her and continue with MY workout she brought over a towel to cover up the screen on my bike so I would pay attention to her. I have cycled at all the major cycle studios such as CycleBar, SoulCycle, and Rukus, as well as local business in major cities and never had such a negative experience as this one. This was a very negative and unwelcoming environment and I hope to see this horrible business fail and shut down. I should have stuck to my “chain” studios as they are way more fun and inclusive and I actually get my full workout in. Along with this review I will be emailing ClassPass about my experience to have them removed from the app as no one should be subjected to such a negative cycling experience like this one.

Although The Ride is well-reviewed for its entertainment and engaging hosts, the seating is in a theater-style bus layout where your view may depend on your assigned seat, so arriving early or requesting particular seating may enhance your experience. It is also beneficial to be aware that The Ride’s unique format involves participation and interaction, which may not suit extremely shy guests or those looking for a quiet ride. Additionally, depending on the company policies at the time of booking, cancellation and refund policies should be reviewed to avoid misunderstandings. Groups should plan transportation logistics accordingly, as The Ride is a mobile experience and may start from specific city locations. Many guests praise the uniqueness, entertainment quality, and engaging hosts, noting that the immersive theatrical bus tour is a refreshing and enjoyable way to spend time with friends and family.
