It can be great for treasure hunting. Yesterday, picked up like-new Hunter boots ($17) and tee (half off, $1.50). But they have spent their last year becoming less customer-friendly. They redid their pricing; which was previously by type and now by item. The tags talk about returns, but the store is final sale. And yesterday in the middle of the afternoon they decided to close their fitting rooms forever. Their restroom is also closed. Arc Thrift continues to reign supreme in CO.

The pricing of items in this store has gone completely out of control. The first rack that you see when you walk in is laughable beyond belief. Most items on this “special” rack have absolutely nothing special about them but they are priced at about 5 X of what you would pay on eBay. Whoever is in charge of this needs a huge lesson in common sense and the value of used clothing. Such a bad business move when right down the street in Boulder is one of the best Goodwill stores in the US. Have fun with your $99 Calvin Klein jacket that was probably barely that brand new and you can find on eBay all day long for $19. Such a turn off, especially when the sales are supposedly for charity. UGH!!

The trend of not being able to try clothes on NOR return them for your money back is bullshit, for all the thrift stores that have this policy. I like how they have reorganized the store; however, doing so by color and not size makes it much more difficult to shop. Want them to make it but worried they are headed in the wrong direction
