Brunch at The Woodall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an incredible brunch experience at The Woodall that deserves all the stars. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the service was top-tier, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. I went with the steak and eggs — perfectly cooked, but what really elevated the dish were the sauces. Rich, flavorful, and balanced. Also tried the French toast, which tasted like a cider donut stuffed with cream cheese filling. Decadent without being over-the-top. Paired with some excellent drinks, it was the kind of meal that makes you want to linger. Already planning to come back for dinner or another brunch. This spot nails comfort, creativity, and hospitality all in one.

My partner and I finally made it to The Woodall to celebrate our new business venture, and wow… what a night. This place has been on our list forever, and now I’m mad we waited so long. We kicked things off with the shrimp toast and the octopus salad. Both were so good, but that octopus? The fava bean salad was fresh and fun, and I could taste the citrus notes in the octopus, which was extremely tender. Brian (our server and new favorite person) said we had to try it, and he was right. For mains, I had the steak with green beans and fries, extra gravy please and my husband went for the lamb chops. Both plates came out looking gorgeous and tasting even better. Then Brian hit us with the dessert suggestion, a crumble cake with vanilla bean gelato and listen… that thing did not stand a chance. Brian made the whole night FUN! Super friendly, knew the menu inside and out, nailed the wine pairings, and just made us feel like we were regulars. If you haven’t been to The Woodall yet, make a reservation. And when you go, ask for Brian. Trust me.

My family came here for my brother's birthday and truly enjoyed our evening here. The food was sooo good. I got a salmon plate, which I find can usually be dry - but not here it was made to perfection. Our server RJ was personable and friendly, his serving skills made our night better. We hope to come back here!

Impressed. One page focused menu. Good drinks, good seating inside and out, nice calm vibe, great service from Abigail, nice chairs/seating and silverware, clean restrooms and establishment. The water is delicious Steak-at $53 it’s the most expensive item and it’s worth it. Plenty food, amazing flavors. Baked Chicken-Arguably best item. We don’t eat chicken much but the people next to us had it and swore by it because they came the previous day and ordered it and they were back again ordering the same thing so we had to try it. I’m glad we did. Probably one of the best tasting birds ever. And I’ve eaten my share of chicken. 10/10 it taste like it was grilled and baked-amazing Trout-Delicious. A bit light tho so you’ll have to order something else if you’re hungry. Okra-Delicious. It also tastes smoky and hearty like meat. Comes with amazing pita bread. Okra was too salty the second time trying. Chicken Sandwich-Delicious, crunchy, fresh. It could’ve had more spices, more pickles, and a good sauce that matches the sandwich. It only had a thin layer of mayo on it. The bun was buttery and I knew my blood pressure was going up. Wedge Salad-Cold and tasty. Felt like it was worth more like $9 tho. Beef Talo Fries-Very Tasty-Loved Beets-nice and tangy. At $13 it could be $9 easily Farro VEGAN dish- delicious. Ate every last bit 10/10 and great price. Ordered 3 times since. Lamb Dish-Delicious 10/10-fair $22. Looked small at first but it was more than I thought. They could charge $25 and give you more. Dessert Cookie was like a brownie cookie bake in a skillet-nothing special. The Butter Cake in that amazing baileys sauce-Very delicious. Should come with ice cream. It was smaller the second time ordering and should be larger. You’ll definitely want more. We licked the plate 10/10 if they go back to a larger size. Didn’t understand the painting on the wall. Many of their menu items had cheese and the cheese if taken off would change the dish. However, there were many items still on the menu that I could eat. I was very impressed with their pricing. I was expecting a more expensive bill, but for the quality and selection this price should attract every level of customer. For price, taste and service it was hard not to give them a five star. The portion sizes are not large so it makes you order two-three items which can then get your bill up to $50 per. Easily just order one meal each and it’s affordable. We appreciate Good clean food.

The Woodall is an excellent restaurant for a very delicious meal in a contemporary, relaxed environment. There are a variety of tasty choices on the menu and the prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and prompt. I really liked fried chicken sandwiches and the mocktail was very refreshing. I would definitely recommend checking out this American fare.

While some reviews mention that the service can be slower and less efficient, this slower pace can actually complement groups who are less interested in speed and more in connection and celebration. The staff, described as kind and professional, tends to focus on quality interaction over rapid turnover, so groups have space to enjoy their time fully. That balance, coupled with fresh, well-executed food, makes it an attractive alternative for those wanting a step above the ordinary group dining experience.

What should you expect in terms of service and timing when visiting The Woodall with a group?

Visitors should be prepared for a somewhat leisurely dining pace when visiting The Woodall. Reports from guests indicate that from arriving to leaving, a typical visit may span around two hours, highlighting a dining approach that favors savoring the experience rather than rushing it. While this means the service might feel slow compared to fast-casual joints, many guests appreciate the chance to take their time, allowing the group to fully enjoy their time together without feeling hurried. In group contexts, this is often a benefit rather than an inconvenience, enabling long conversations and multiple courses to be enjoyed thoroughly. Service staff are described as kind and professional, though not always supported enough especially for newer servers, so patience is advised. Drink orders might take longer than expected, but the quality and creativity of cocktails often compensate for this delay.
