AMAZING selection of books new in print and good classics, big focus on beat generation writers and their later inspirations. Laid out beautifully, well stocked but not visually overwhelming to browse. I found multiple books here I haven’t been able to find any where else. The clerk behind the counter was so kind and we had a nice little talk. I will definitely be coming back!! All in all my definition of a perfect bookstore :)

Opened about one and half year ago. This cool store has a series of used and collectible books. When a reader comes to the contact with book/art, it came to a space “ third mind”.

I was thrilled to find a copy of Olympia magazine No. 2, published in Paris in 1962, for sale on the internet from Third Mind Books. It has several articles about the artist Brion Gysin and his Dreamachines.- fascinating stuff! Third Mind Books had great communication, fast shipping, and the magazine was extremely well packaged. The price was very reasonable also. Highly recommend this seller and I hope to visit their brick and mortar store in the future! A+++++++++

I am an Author who wrote a kind of beatnik themed book about a political revolution. I was in downtown Ann Arbor for the first time today visiting bookstores. This one was my very favorite. I especially loved how Wes (the employee) made me feel at home there (he let me charge my cell while I walked around and also helped navigate me) and it was a great conversation we shared. Thanks so much Wes! I’d like to stop by again soon as I loved my time exploring Ann Arbor! Very cool and unique bookshop. Next time I’ll talk less and shop more. Sorry about that.
