Attended a dinner here last week, the food was fantastic, the service was great. The view is one of the best in the city. I have only attended award dinners here, but I can see that it would be a top venue for many different occasions here in San Diego. From the moment you enter the lobby you feel like you are in for an experience. I have been here 2 times now and both times I have left waiting to come back. I believe they have multiple caterer staff and bar staff that can be brought in, and both times different caterer and different bar but both times it left the wow factor. The sunset view is amazing as well.

This venue is breathtaking! The views from every single angle are incomparable. My first time at the Skybox was in November 2018 for my besties wedding. I was a bridesmaid. She and her now husband looked at several other venues but when they found this one they were obviously sold. It wasn’t just the views, the skybox has a plethora of vendors and caterers already familiar with their space. They met with caterers and florists and were able to make their selections. The tables and chairs were handled by the venue which made that easier. They chose a sunset ceremony which was absolutely beautiful! Standing there supporting my friends in their nuptials with the sights and sounds was pretty euphoric. (Note: you are very high up so it can be extremely windy and chilly. Come prepared.) The on-site event planners also part of the venue were excellent and on-point. They kept us on time and prepared for each stage of the ceremony and reception. They were there but not in the way and helpful when we needed. It was perfect! The wedding party was escorted to a green room after the ceremony to wait for the venue to be changed over for the reception and for introductions. They brought us snacks and water or other libations while we waited. Once the bride and groom were announced the food service began. They chose multiple stations of things so guests could get what they wanted. That’s always my preference too as a person who likes to graze. The food and dessert (churros and a sundae bar…the couple didn’t want an overpriced cake that would barely get eaten) were delicious. The entire evening was an absolute dream! Their wedding is still the talk of our friend group. Thank you, Ultimate Skybox, for making my favourite bride and groom’s dream wedding come true!

Proof that the most beautiful spots can be ruined by horrible service. Went to an event here and was met with pretentious looks, questions and attitudes from the staff. Everything is top notch as expected for a venue such as this, but with a grandiose staff who seem to think they are “untouchable”, it completely makes the experience subpar. Speaking from a blue collar perspective, my family will not be returning to this place. We came from a certain background and will assimilate to such hypocrisy.

Ours is a small school in rural east county San Diego. Of the 180 juniors and seniors at our school, 135 came to prom this year. Our class officers set a goal of wanting an unforgettable, elegant prom. We wanted it to be something the students still talked about at their fiftieth reunion. We researched for a year and toured around 8 locations. We knew the moment we walked into the Ultimate Skybox we had found our dream venue. They worked incredibly hard, fundraising nonstop for two years to be able to raise enough money to afford a prom at the Ultimate Skybox and it was worth it. The views were spectacular, the venue was the perfect size and setup for a school of our size, and every event staff member - from our amazing coordinator Evey, to Carolina and her culinary crew at El Tapatio, to Rachel’s photography and patio heater team - was helpful, professional, and dedicated to ensuring our students had an outstanding experience. Our students and staff all agreed it was one of the best - if not THE best- proms our school has hosted (and some of us staff members have been around for 30+ years).

This venue has the best view in San Diego! Our party was truly a hit with the Padres playing and all of the amenities offered. From the minute we inquired with the venue up until the last minute before we left, this place was top-notch. I am so impressed with how smooth everything went. The venders checked in multiple times throughout the party without interrupting or interfering. They genuinely cared that we had the best experience and it was so great to know they wanted us to have the best experience. 10/10!!!!
