I have been going to Ubike for many years. I have custom built titanium bike yet I sent several friends to purchase new bikes at this Boulder store. The sales staff doesn’t upsell and there is no pressure involved when it comes to making a decision. However…my highest recommendation goes to the service staff. These techs know their stuff and really listen to my concerns. Recently I upgraded my gravel bike from shimano 2x to sram 1x w/electronic shifting. What a pleasure with working with staff there to get my bike dialed into my needs and wants. Very professional and friendly. If you are considering doing anything with bikes I highly recommend this shop! Oh yeah, Tyler at the front door is the best guy at remembering names.

I have been so happy with University Bicycles since 1992. The sales staff is first rate and wants you to test ride as many bikes as it takes to decide. It took me maybe 6 years to finally decide on a Surly Preamble. University Bicycles gave me the Surly discount price. The mechanic staff is very good. You might not see a Surly on the sales floor. Just ask the staff and they can see what is available. I love this place as I am a senior citizen and a transgender mtf. They all treat me with information and kindness.

Whichever mechanic it was that built my custom epic 8 pro did a phenomenal job and his attention to detail is impressive. I really appreciate him setting my bike up perfectly so I can just jump on the trail and showing me how to calibrate the flight attendant suspension. everybody that I’ve come into contact with in the shop has showed incredible customer service, and from all the other options out therethis is by far the best LBS. keep up the good work.
