We had a BLAST! I found this place at the last minute! It was an appropriate spot to chill with friends or to celebrate a special occasion! I loved that they offer small plates menu & craft cocktails. I didn’t have any of the special cocktails.

The food is not the best but the drinks!!! The view is decent; if you never been I recommend going. The customer service is amazing. The bartender walks around making sure everything is okay and if you need another drink LOL !!!!

Charcuterie was expensive and below average. Came with honey(no jam or fruit spread) and some weird spread one cracker split in two and some of the meats tasted old. The steak tips even though I was made aware it was "small shareable" was not shareable at all. Mostly mushrooms very little steak. Holiday theme is fine I was expecting more but at least you didn't have to pay to enter. I got the candy cane lane and it was just okay. My husband didn't finish his holiday gingerbread old fashioned he didn't like it. Overall I'd skip this place. $90 tab and we left unsatisfied and went to eat at another restaurant. The server was very kind and attentive.

Located on the top of 5Church surrounded by Midtown high rises. Love the multiple modern, sleek looking fire pits that helped keep us warm during a chilly night so we could enjoy the beautiful views. I ordered the tuna lettuce wraps and lemon cube cake. Both were delicious! Service was fantastic as well. Would definitely go back.

This is a really cute bar. It has an amazing roof top. The drinks were okay but not as cute as they look on their instagram. The food was ok. I had the sliders.

How does Virtue Rooftop compare to other rooftop bars in Atlanta?
While Virtue Rooftop may not offer the tallest or most panoramic views among Atlanta rooftop bars, it distinguishes itself through an emphasis on atmosphere, service, and drink innovation. Unlike some rooftop venues focused solely on views, Virtue provides a cozy, stylish setting that feels more exclusive and curated, combining indoor chic spaces with an open-air terrace. This makes it appealing for those wanting a more intimate and design-focused environment rather than just a scenic overlook. The constant rotation of seasonal cocktails and the presence of skilled bartenders elevate the drink program beyond the standard rooftop bar fare. Music and entertainment, particularly weekend DJ performances, inject a vibrant nightlife element often missing at more relaxed rooftop lounges. These factors, combined with excellent customer service and a central Midtown location, make Virtue Rooftop a distinctive and attractive option for groups seeking a blend of sophistication and lively social interaction in Atlanta.
What special experiences can groups expect at Virtue Rooftop?
Groups visiting Virtue Rooftop can anticipate a multifaceted experience that goes beyond just eating and drinking. The venue’s design fosters social rather than solitary experiences, with seating and space arranged to encourage group interaction and shared moments. The dynamic cocktail menu invites tasting flights or drink rounds that can become fun group activities, sparking conversations and enthusiasm. Weekend DJ nights transform the rooftop into an energetic social hub where groups can dance and celebrate together. The presence of Instagram-worthy spots and the fashionable ambiance also turn a simple meetup into a stylish event. Ultimately, Virtue Rooftop offers both the physical space and social atmosphere that make gatherings feel special, engaging, and worth repeating.
Why should families consider Virtue Rooftop for their gatherings?
Although primarily known as a cocktail lounge and evening social spot, Virtue Rooftop can also be a pleasant venue for family gatherings, especially for older family members or groups where the focus is on relaxed conversation and enjoying an elevated setting. The combination of comfortable seating, moderate music volume, and outdoor terrace space allows for family members to spread out and engage without feeling cramped or overwhelmed. The availability of small plates provides light food options that can suit varying tastes without the need for a formal meal. Additionally, the venue’s upscale but casual atmosphere creates a sense of occasion suitable for celebrating milestones or simply catching up across generations in style. Parents and older relatives often appreciate the deft service and pleasant environment that make the experience smooth and enjoyable. What practical tips should groups keep in mind when planning a visit?
When planning a group meetup at Virtue Rooftop, a few practical considerations can enhance the experience. First, due to its popularity and Midtown location, it is wise to consider valet parking, even with the $35 fee, to simplify arrival and departure in a busy urban area. Reservations or arriving early on busy weekend nights can help secure preferred seating, especially for larger groups wanting to stay together. It’s helpful to coordinate drink orders with the bartenders who actively circulate to groups, filling orders efficiently and maintaining the social flow for everyone. Since the rooftop is more like a second-floor terrace, managing expectations regarding views can prevent disappointments and keep attention on the other excellent attributes like drink quality and ambiance. Lastly, taking advantage of photo-op areas early during the visit ensures everyone in the group gets a chance for memorable snapshots without long waits. By keeping these tips in mind, groups can maximize their time and enjoyment at Virtue Rooftop.
