I 100000% do not recommend renting from this place. We rented a kayak for 2 hours and got the confirmation email but no code to unlock the locker. We know the reservation went through because we can see that they charged us. Called the place to try and get a code from them but they couldn’t even see that there was a reservation even though we have the confirmation from our email with the correct date and time. Getting a refund and never coming back here.

The paddles were not tightened properly so they didn't work. My SUP was tore up on the bottom from mishandling. I am guessing this is what caused water to be let into my SUP which made my ride not very fun. I contacted them, they gave me a partial refund and Eric Weiderick, the guy who was responding to my emails, said he inspected our equipment and nothing was wrong with it which is incorrect. I have been teaching paddling lessons since 2012. I know what I'm talking about. I will not be using or endorsing WakeRack.

I booked the kayaks/paddleboards several days in advance and received a confirmation email with detailed information about my purchase. We drove out and showed up on the day of our reservation at the right time ,but we did not receive the locker codes to unlock our rental. I called the office, left a voicemail, and was told, after some exchange of text messages, that they had no record of my reservation, even though I had received a confirmation email with all the details of my reservation (that was identical to the one I received later when I booked it again). Now, that's all fine. Mistakes happen. We had only been waiting for half an hour or so. But the person I spoke to to resolve the situation was anything but helpful. He offered no solutions to the situation or help in resolving it even when asked, took no responsibility for what happened instead implying we hadn't actually booked it, and was not willing to make any accommodations for our situation, because "the system wouldn't allow it." (The system is literally just codes for some cheap combination padlocks, which could have been shared with us easily). We ended up having to book later in the day, for a worse set of kayaks/paddleboards, and at full price. If you have to go with this company, I'd recommend giving them a call right after you book to ensure they have your reservation, because a confirmation email just won't do.
