This is a newly renovated path that just opened. It’s clean, peaceful and quiet. It should be known that this does now connect with Walnut Creek Park across the road. There is an entrance on North Lamar and Cedar brook court. I enjoy a nice stroll and even take my shoes off and wade into Walnut Creek on a hot day. There is also a dirt path the runs along the side of the newly paved path, which has painted lanes. Great path!

I've been coming here for the 8 years I've been in Austin. Great place to get lost with all of the winding back trails, and a welcome respite from the noise of the city, except on Sunday. Nature therapy 100%.

The trail is closed here and it's basically a dead end. Might as well go to Walnut Metro Park where there is safer parking and the trail is open on that end.
