Had a great experience here working with Jim. My initial reservation was rained out and I was worried how that would be handled. Communication was easy, and we rescheduled for another day when the weather was beautiful. Great way to experience the river on a nice day.

A little hard to find, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars not 5. If you’re coming to Bridgeport, you need to walk to the North Entrance parking lot. From there, walk to the picnic tables next to the river and the Wateriders dock is there. The experience and conversations with staff members were superb! We kayaked from Bridgeport to River North - which they estimated would take 3 hours and 5.5 miles. We did it in 2 hours and really enjoyed being on our own and relishing the distinct perspectives of the Chicago skyline and surroundings. We originally went in individual kayaks, but then returned to the dock for a double kayak instead. It was better for us to be able to chat, persist through the wind and other boats’ wakes, and savor the time together.

Jim was amazing! He covers form and how to make the most out of your experience. Bubbly Creek is really calm, relaxing and great nature viewing with wildlife.

We made reservations and drove an hour to this place only to discover that nobody showed up to work today. We got a refund, but that's still one-star behavior. Go somewhere more professional.

Great experience! Friendly staff on the docks and a quiet nature-y part of the river.
