Went for a tasting and some bites, stayed for over two hours enjoying every moment! This is exactly what this part of town needed. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine flights. Every wine was so good! We ordered several dishes: the Brie, Brussel sprouts, and the fries. Everything was delicious! The best part though was how friendly the staff was. They really added to the welcoming atmosphere! We are most definitely going to become regulars. Do not sleep on this new spot!!!

Their wine selection is absolutely delicious (seriously, don’t leave without trying a flight), and the food menu is exquisite, thoughtfully crafted, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And as if that weren’t enough, they’ve recently added a few draft beers to the mix, giving everyone at your table something to love. What really sets this place apart for me is the versatility. I’ve actually come in a few times to work from the bar, thanks to their strong WiFi and peaceful energy. Whether it’s for a productive solo session or a laid-back hang with friends, Waters Edge just works. This is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Dallas. Hidden gem outside the heart of Dallas! Overall, we enjoyed visiting Waters Edge Winery & Bistro. We stopped in this place around 2:30pm on a Saturday for a wine tasting & a light lunch and it ended up being exactly what we were looking for! We were the only patrons in at the time of arrival & it appeared that the staff was having a meeting which led to service being a bit sparse but we were understanding & not too needy. I ordered a wine tasting of 3 wines & my friend's each order a tasting of 5 wines. We ordered Parma Fries (incredible), Just the Basics Flatbread, & the Italian Job Charcuterie Board (we added cheese) from the bistro. Everything was delicious, if I am in the area again, I'd be happy to return!

The pics should say it all! Sensational locally owned addition to the restaurant lounge scene of e. Dallas. Wine flights, beer on tap, fascinating selection of reds, whites, blends and bubblies! Oh and our chicken pesto Flatbread was most and flavor-full. Andy Gonzales the Mgr and Tracy our server were so helpful. We're coming back soon.... 😉

Our first visit on a Saturday afternoon, not busy but service was slow. My wife's flatbread looked good but they forgot the basil and had to bring some out on the side. My humus entree took 45 minutes to bring out and was easily the worst I have ever seen or had... Skip that one! The atmosphere is very nice and wines are not bad. If you like buttery cheese and have a few hours to kill, looks fine, but if you cannot eat dairy - don't waste your time even trying - *everything* is heavy cheese/butter/cream and they appear unable to accommodate.
