Way 1? More like Wait 1 — only one cashier, and the line of people can wrap around the store. The cashier looked like she was trying her best, but the line just kept getting longer. Luckily, I wasn’t the cashier, or I might have given up halfway through. They really need to hire more cashiers or at least open more registers during peak hours. Adding self-checkout lanes would also help customers like me with just a few items avoid these long waits. If possible, try to avoid shopping during busy times — otherwise, be prepared to endure a very long line. At least the cashier was friendly, which made the wait a little more bearable. Please, owner, do something about this!

They've been here for decades, with a pretty large inventory. But between the smell, the poor quality of some products, and the rude cashiers (and the fact that they're slow to realize when another lane needs opened up), it can get aggravating. If a rival Asian grocery opened nearby with better customer service and inventory I'd be shopping there instead. As it is, they keep getting away with this sub-par behavior.

This Asian market is nice. It smells clean and there’s more of a focus on snacks and produce and household essentials. Some of the other markets have a lot of meat and this particular one is more balanced.

The location is great, not far from highway. Parking should not be a problem. Decent size of store with variety of Asian food, especially Chinese food (vegetable, rice, drinks, dried food, noodles, meat, bakery, etc.). Quality of products is generally good. Price is generally slightly higher than other great Detroit area Chinese supermarket, understandably with its location next to University of Michigan. One of my main complain is that the restroom is dirty and smelly (shelf area are generally better). And staff is under-staffed both at re-stocking and check out.
