I’ve been coming to Westwood Art Studio since fall 2023. Although I live far from the studio, it’s absolutely worth every drive through Seattle rush hour traffic. Damian has created an amazing community that’s truly supportive and collaborative. This isn’t the type of studio where people just wear their earbuds and keep to themselves—students here are genuinely invested in each other’s lives and progress, all a testament to the type of community that Damian has been able to foster. Damian’s welcoming and motivating teaching style helps everyone feel like they belong regardless of skill level. Damian is also a highly skilled, and talented potter. His work is beautiful and I would encourage anyone interested in pottery classes or adding gorgeous new pottery pieces to their collection to check out Damian’s studio.

I've been taking pottery classes now for 2 years with Damian. He has created a welcoming and thriving community that you just can't find at other studios. He teaches all students from the basics to the experienced. He helps and challenges you based on your skills or lack there of. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the composition of the clay and glazes he creates himself. I highly recommend you try out a class with him. It may just become your home like it has for all of us who attend. Hope to see you soon!
