This is a hidden gem of a thrift store in East Dallas. I go here weekly and the staff has to be the friendliest people I know. The store is always quiet, clean, and very welcoming. New items are added daily if not throughout the day! They have the best selection of dinnerware, glassware, and vases. Hands down! The furniture is always stunning and reasonably priced too. Get here early because it goes fast! The best part is the money goes straight to a good cause to feed and support the community with a food pantry, clothes closet, financial aid and more. Donate here. Shop here. It truly makes a difference!

Today I had the opportunity to volunteer at White Rock Center of Hope. By far one of the best experiences I have had in a while, everyone was amazing. From the CEO who was there and involved as well as my contact person, Shelby. She was beyond amazing. I really can tell the passion she puts into the center. The entire staff I worked with today was a 10/10. The store has nice things in it, I saw a lot of amazing items for all at affordable prices. The items they put out are items they themselves would wear/use which is amazing. If you are in the area, stop by.

I grew up going here getting clothes from the back for free as well as the food they give out to low income & less fortunate families as well as shopping here with my own family when I was younger but sadly the prices now that I am an adult are through the roof. Considering they get everything for free the prices should never be that high if they really care about helping people and giving people hope they should really reconsider their pricing system… everything I own comes from thrift stores and it’s hard to buy things here when randomly the price of a jacket could be $30 when it’s not even a good brand. I just wish they could do what’s right instead of trying to drain every penny out of people’s wallets because there’s a reason we are thrifting and not buying new it’s because it’s affordable. Please keep thrifting affordable and stop trying to benefit yourself instead. It’s not a consignment store so the prices should not be that high.

About 1.5 weeks ago I stopped by (I am a frequent shopper as in I go multiple times a week) I grabbed a couple of items and 2 cameras that were in their box they were priced at 1.00 (both boxes had MULTIPLE 1.00 price tags all over the boxes) and Eileen was help another lady check out and Eileen said these cannot be 1.00 and took them to the back and said they have to get priced differently. She didn’t come back with the cameras and didn’t say anything I had to ask her if she was getting them priced or was she just not going to sell them to us? She said oh I can get them priced the male manager came back out and said they were 10.00 each. Which is fine I still bought both cameras but I think it’s very rude to just take something to add another price just because one of the workers is not happy with the price it originally has. At the end of the day they priced the items and it is supposed to be a thrift store not a consignment or resale shop. I’ve also had issues were the manager Diane has physically snatched a pair shoes out of my hand and said they were not for sale when they were actually out on the racks. And if anyone wonders why you cannot find many items like before Diane arrived she is a reseller and takes the items from the store and resales them on Poshmark. I have personally seen her drop of packages at the post office and I found she Poshmark and found items from the store on her Poshmark.
