It is a good place to work remotely. The second floor has lots of tables and chairs, and some tables have outlets. There is a wifi, and lots of options for food. IF you sit by the window side, you can see the Hudson River and the view of Jersey. It is pretty to look at some ships pass by the Winter Garden. The bathroom is clean to use. The Winter Garden is connected to the World Trade Center, so it is an easy access to the train station. Fun fact about building is that I saw some sparrows flying inside the building.

The Winter Garden Atrium at Brookfield Place is like a giant glass oasis in the middle of Lower Manhattan. Under its soaring 10-story ceiling, rows of tall palm trees create a calm, sun-filled escape from the city. It’s a place to sit, relax, and watch the light change through the glass, with views of the Hudson River just outside. Rebuilt after 9/11, it has become a symbol of resilience and a hub for art shows, concerts, and seasonal events. Whether you’re here for a coffee, a quiet moment, or a cultural happening, the Winter Garden Atrium feels like a breath of fresh air—indoors.

On the evening of 16 September 1989, in the final stretch of my mother's 30-hour labour (!), the Jon Hassell Concert Group played the Winter Garden Atrium of the World Trade Center (full show is on youtube). Brian Eno was mixing. It's been one of my all time favourite performances for ages. Still sounds completely alien. Perfect mix of acoustic, analog, electronic, midi. Sensitive and lucid. I was born just after midnight. For years ive been entranced by this sync, that these vibrations were shaking the belly of the planetary capitalist beast as i was being ushered into this dimension. This year, for the 35th anniversary of the portal, i made a pilgrimage to the site and did some secret things. Full moon both nights. Very cool thank you
