I was very lucky to have (virtually) bumped into Diego while I was searching for a contemporary west coast trawler from my home in the San Francisco Bay area. There was a really low inventory and many powerboats in this area are either express cruisers or euro-style boats which did not fit my style. Diego knew what I wanted and he started an extensive search across his network and he educated me along the way as there are just so many things to consider when purchasing a boat, especially during a pandemic. He found several good candidates and helped me go through the pros and cons for each one and was a true and trusted advisor that I could count on to help me make the best choice. He helped me locate a great boat in Washington State and did an awesome virtual tour that led me and my partner to head up there for a boat-buying-vacation a few weeks later. Diego organized all of the surveys using the best local survey companies and we had an awesome day of sea trials and doing a complete shakedown of the boat. Diego was literally the first guy at the dock and the last guy to leave. After putting in an offer, Diego provided expert negotiation with the selling broker and helped ensure I was getting the most value for my money. In the end, we closed on the deal and Diego was able to help me get the boat transported from Bellingham down to San Francisco and before the weather window closed for that long trip. A few weeks after, he stopped by the new homeport in Sausalito, CA and we had a nice post-purchase follow-up.
