The driver tried to RIDE my bike instead of putting it in the truck despite not even knowing how to turn it on and DROPPING another bike. I had to wait until 2am Monday morning for the pickup. Driver asked for my keys and opened the gas tank thinking it was the ignition, asked me how to turn it on. I thought weird, but okay maybe he needs to check that it runs, so I turned the bike on for him. He then said all good, and I go back into my apartment. I’m looking out the window and I see him put on a helmet and gloves and take my bike to the front of the truck and sit on it and adjust the mirrors, clearly about to ride the bike. I call him and say “are you going to put it in the truck?”, he jumps as if caught red handed and quickly says “oh yeah wait let me show you”, and goes to open the truck. He shows me that the truck is full and meanwhile DROPS another bike, damaging it, and curses audibly. I go downstairs to see what’s going on and he says the truck is full so he’s going to ride my bike until he drops off the next one. I say absolutely not you don’t even know how to turn it on and you want to drive it thousands of miles (aside from the obvious that I didn’t pay for someone to ride it)??? He says “fine then I’ll put yours in the truck and drive another one”. At this point I refuse to give him my bike as he clearly doesn’t know how to handle them, has never touched a bike before, and wants to shadily ride them regardless. He later contacts AA motorcycle shippers asking for a dry run fee and tries to put it on me as refusing the pickup. I call AA motorcycle shippers to tell them what happened and they refuse to make it right in any way and say I have to start the whole process over despite having already waited over a week in the first place. No compensation, no upgrades, nothing. Decided to cancel my order since this whole thing was ridiculous, they should be glad I didn’t sue for unlawful operation of a vehicle without a license.
