This is a wonderful quiet place just south of Foster Road. I noted playground equipment, several benches and picnic tables need of some rehab. No garbage bins and no restrooms, so I'd plan for that. Paths and trails are accessible (the only person I encountered was in a wheelchair) though they are short and don't really lead anywhere; take footpaths/animal trails to approach the creek. Parking is in residential area.

This place would be great if I could have gone down a single path without abandoned homeless people’s gear. The playground needs to be power washed, but there is a nice big bench in the shade near it. The dragonflies and the flowers at the pond were lovely!

We had so much fun here!! There are some geocaches here if you are into that. Great place to walk around and explore nature with our pup. There are gardener snakes like everywhere so beware in case that is a fear of yours. Beautiful grounds. The birds are incredible. Check us out on instagram @wagsandnub

The last time I visited I ran into a camp and trash was all over in the woodland. I thought I would give this nature park a second chance since it's so close to my neighborhood. This visit not too far in I heard folks having a fight and their dogs barking. My assumption was there is a camp in the park. (I could be wrong.) I decided to not venture forth. I did walk not very far down another path as I could see a pond through the trees. A hypodermic needle was in the water near the edge of the pond. Brookside Sketchy Park. This park looks beautiful from the entrance. If there is a next time I explore Brookside Wetland I will come with a group of friends and not my dogs. I'm comfortable hiking alone. My instinct tells me "not safe!".
