If I had to describe our dinner with Chef Justin in one word, it would simply be “magical.” This was a “just because” end of Summer dinner with the family (~10 people). I wanted it to be laid back/casual, but I also wanted the food to be poppin’ off the charts. Chef Justin smashed my expectations - which were set unreasonably high. He’s incredibly communicative and focused on creating a menu that matched my tastes and desired vibes for the night. Everything was customizable and totally curated. I made a couple high-level suggestions (wanted pasta and steak courses), but then let Chef Justin work his creative magic. 5-course meal + dessert. All of the food was made from scratch using top-tier fresh ingredients. He turned my very regular suburb kitchen into a scene out of The Bear. Ribeyes were grilled, 20’ of handmade pasta was rolled, broccoli was shaved and kale was crisped. All of this detail translated onto the plate and BLEW our tastebuds away. There was so much food that we had leftovers (and my family can eat)! Chef Justin isnt just a wizard in the kitchen. He totally connected with my family too - not always an easy task. They totally leaned into the experience and our collective excitement grew with each course. What was supposed to be just a cool meal, turned into a core memory (for adults no less!). It wasn’t a dinner, it was a culinary journey, and we were family by the end of the night! I can’t sing Chef J’s praises loud enough. He’s our exclusive chef going-forward any time we’re looking create more memories like the ones we created over the weekend.
