🎨 Color Cocktail Review 🍷 I had a great time at Color Cocktail! The pottery class was fun, relaxing, and beginner-friendly. The instructor gave clear, step-by-step instructions, so even if you’ve never touched clay before, you’ll feel totally at ease. One of the best parts? It’s BYOB! Bringing your own beverage made the experience even more enjoyable—great for a date night or girls’ night out. The only downside was parking—it can be a bit daunting in the area, so plan to arrive early or consider public transportation or a rideshare. Overall, a creative and fun way to spend a few hours. I’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I took Brittany’s class as one of our anniversary stops, and this was the most relaxing time of the day. So much fun! She was very attentive, explained step by step, and even gave us some extra time and clay as a courtesy for some little interruptions throughout. She knows exactly what she’s doing and how to help the students around! Thankful for her relaxing voice and two hours of joy. Will be back soon!

My bf & I did the BYOB wheel throw date night & it was sooo fun, could not emphasize that enough! They gave ample time to work on pieces and the staff was approachable, kind and super helpful, especially Moises who was so patient with us as he guided us the whole process! Brittany was also a great instructor who was so encouraging! Price point was worth it compared to other wheel throwing places and for $5-$25, you can get your pieces glazed to be food safe & and pick it up after 3 weeks! Definitely going back with my girlfriends next time, highly recommend!!

First time wheel throwing but forever wanted to try this. Like most people I was drawn in with the infamous Ghost scene and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. Our instructor Morgan was so patient and helpful. Even when I messed up and had to start over while everyone else was finished he was so kind and helpful about it. This was such a great experience, we are coming back to do the longer class with the painting addition. Great experience, heard mixed reviews but am absolutely happy I came to experience it myself.

I did the “date night wheel throwing” class 2 weeks ago as I got in on Groupon, and it was the BEST TIME!!! I was hesitant at first as I knew I wasn’t going to bring my s/o and wanted to do it with my grandmother as I was taking her to Chicago. But, the vibes were so chill!! I didn’t feel uncomfortable taking my grandmother rather than a date as multiple classes go on at once (for example, there were singles there taking the wheel beginner throwing class too). Plus, the instructor is incredible! Though there were 15+ people taking the class, she was very attentive to everyone and helping people out. You have the option to bring your own booze, and one couple brought a bottle of wine. Such a cute date night idea y’all!! My grandma and I had such a fun time taking this class. After the class you have the option to take the pieces that you made home, or you can leave it for them to fire and glaze ($5 or $10 extra). I fired both of my pieces because it was an excuse to come back to Chicago and take another class :) (anyone see that dildo and bottles class!? HELLO GIRLS NIGHT!!) I recommend this class and I cannot wait to be back!
