A great way to get your hands dirty (literally) learning pottery. We signed up for the 90-minute pottery basics class since I have never done pottery in my life. The class consists of 30 min of the instructor/owner Christina showing you the ropes while you follow along and the rest of the time, you can use it to practice your newly acquired knowledge and create your masterpieces. You can sign up for the class through their website or Groupon (we got a pretty good deal for a pair of tickets). Each person would get 3 balls of clay for the whole session. The class size is small so you get a pretty focused attention from Christina and you could easily see what she's doing. She's a really good instructor; telling you the little tricks or minor adjustments that she was doing that you might not notice. If you are a total beginner like I was, I would recommend looking up some basic pottery videos prior to the class if you really want to maximize your time here. I did not do that and I forgot the in-between steps (even though the outline was written on the board) that would make your clay more malleable. But I still had a lot of fun doing it. After the class, you get to select one piece that you'd want to take home and that piece would be cooked (is this the right term?) and would be ready in a few weeks. You can also add additional pieces for a fee. I loved the experience and would love to learn more about pottery. Thank you for the great time, Christina!

Absolutely loved the Praise and Paint Workshop! The studio was beautiful and clean, with a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. Our instructor, Cristina, was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. She made everyone feel comfortable and encouraged, no matter their skill level. If you're looking for a God-centered, creative, and fun experience, I highly recommend this class. I left feeling inspired, refreshed, and genuinely proud of the pottery art I created. I’ll definitely be back!
