Upon arrival, the mug workshop originally signed up for was overbooked due to a scheduling conflict with the instructor. A couple of customers volunteered to return at a later time. It happens. Unfortunately, signing up for a "mug workshop" was misleading as it turned out to be more of a do what you can. The workshop description did not match what took place during the class. I'm glad I attended overall because pottery is the craft I wanted to experience but I would not return to this location. It's not a joy being the first to leave this kind of review, however, it would've been appreciative to read/know before purchasing.

Leah is a talented ceramic artist and painter who creates unique work, often reflecting natural forms and colors. Some of her pottery reflects techniques found in the Far East like Raku. Her expertise landed her a commission for bowls with a Pho restaurant in Maryland. What sets her apart, aside from skill, is that she actually paints plants on some of the pottery. Leah loves teaching people of all ages as long as they have an interest in art. This is a great place to discover your inner artist, educate your child, or purchase a distinct, hand made gift for a loved one that has not been mass produced.
